1.2 These Terms, together with the license agreement made available when you download the Tap To Attend app (“App”), form the entire agreement between you (“you” or “your”) and us (“Agreement”).

1.3 By downloading, registering, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1.4 Your use of the App may also be subject to:

  • Our separate Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is used.
  • The terms of any third-party services we integrate with (SumUp, Tink, Supabase).

2. Purpose

2.1 The App enables informal event organisers to track attendance and collect payments from participants.

3. Age Requirement

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old to register and use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Account Registration and Onboarding

4.1 To use the App, you must install it and complete the onboarding process, which may include verifying your identity or providing certain information.

4.2 We may refuse account registration at our discretion, without needing to provide a reason.

4.3 Your relationship with any third-party services (such as SumUp, Tink, or Supabase) is governed by their terms. By using the App, you authorise us to share necessary data with them to provide the service.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 You agree not to:

  • Violate UK laws or regulations.
  • Disrupt or attempt to disrupt the App’s functionality or security.

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 The App does not allow users to upload or share content. You agree not to attempt to submit any such content.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All intellectual property rights in the App (excluding any user input allowed by these Terms) are owned by us or licensed to us.

7.2 You must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App, except as expressly permitted in writing by us.

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 Tap To Attend integrates with third-party platforms, including SumUp, Tink, and Supabase for payment processing, banking integrations, and backend services. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and policies.

8.2 We are not responsible for their practices, availability, or any interruptions in service.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Yellow Feather Ltd will not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Losses related to payments, attendance tracking, or business interruptions.

11. Indemnity

11.1 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yellow Feather Ltd, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, without notice or liability, especially if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

12.2 You may stop using the App at any time. Account deletion will follow the process set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to the Terms

13.1 We may update these Terms occasionally. Any significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

13.2 Your continued use of the App after changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

14.2 Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
